Rory Skagen moved to Austin, TX  in 1992 and began working as a professional artist in 1994. Rory’s paintings reflect his appreciation of the “visual concept and the art of ideas.” Although the content frequently changes, Rory’s imagery usually maintains a sense of absurd optimism. Over the years he has created a line of art products that are available at the annual holiday Blue Genie Art Bazaar.
